How to Bridge HYPE and Tokens to Elysium (and Back)

Bridge HYPE to Elysium from HyperEVM: HYPE arrives 1:1 as native gas. The four official bridge routes, how long withdrawals take, which tokens can't bridge, and how to avoid fake Elysium bridges.

To bridge HYPE to Elysium, deposit it on HyperEVM into Elysium's official bridge; it arrives on Elysium 1:1 as native HYPE for gas, with no wrapper or extra token. HyperEVM is the only source chain for the official bridge — from HyperCore or another chain, move to HyperEVM first. Withdrawals back to HyperEVM wait out a challenge period.

The four official bridge routes

RouteWhat movesHow it works
Native HYPEHYPE between HyperEVM and ElysiumMoves as native value — no token contract, 1:1 both ways
Canonical bridgeA HyperEVM token to ElysiumStock Arbitrum Nitro token bridge: the token is locked on HyperEVM and a 1:1 representation is minted on Elysium, auto-deployed on the first deposit
Mirror bridgeAn Elysium-native token to HyperEVMLocks the token on Elysium and mints a 1:1 mirror on HyperEVM; one-time permissionless setup in two transactions

Step by step: HYPE from HyperEVM to Elysium

  1. Get HYPE onto HyperEVM (from HyperCore, use Hyperliquid's own transfer to HyperEVM).
  2. Open the official Elysium bridge — Kinetiq links it from its Connecting page (the testnet bridge is testnet.elysium.kinetiq.xyz/bridge; the mainnet link is published at launch).
  3. Connect your wallet on HyperEVM, enter the HYPE amount and confirm.
  4. Switch your wallet to Elysium: the HYPE shows as your native balance, ready to pay gas.

How long do withdrawals from Elysium take?

Deposits arrive quickly. Withdrawals from Elysium back to HyperEVM finalize after the rollup's challenge period (its confirmPeriodBlocks setting). On testnet that's 10 HyperEVM blocks, about 10 seconds. Kinetiq hasn't published the mainnet value and says it may differ from testnet; one third-party guide reports about 5.5 days, which Kinetiq hasn't confirmed. Moving an Elysium-native token back from its HyperEVM mirror is typically within a minute.

Tokens that can't use the bridge

  • Fee-on-transfer (tax) tokens.
  • Rebasing tokens.
  • Look-alike WHYPE and USDC exist on Elysium — Kinetiq warns about them. Check token addresses against Kinetiq's contract-addresses page.

Avoid fake bridges

  • Elysium's official account warned on 23 October 2026 that mainnet hadn't officially launched and that unofficial tools and scams were circulating.
  • Third-party bridges exist (some state outright that they're not official, and MetaMask's phishing list has flagged community bridges). Prefer the bridge Kinetiq links from its own docs.
  • There's no Elysium token to claim: any “claim” or “airdrop” bridge page is a scam.

Frequently asked questions

How do I bridge HYPE to Elysium?

Deposit HYPE on HyperEVM into Elysium's official bridge (linked from Kinetiq's Connecting page). It arrives on Elysium 1:1 as native HYPE for gas.

Can I bridge directly from HyperCore or Ethereum to Elysium?

Not with the official bridge — HyperEVM is its only source chain. Move funds to HyperEVM first.

How long does it take to withdraw from Elysium?

Withdrawals to HyperEVM wait out the challenge period: about 10 seconds on testnet. Kinetiq hasn't published the mainnet value yet; a third-party guide reports about 5.5 days, unconfirmed.

Can I bridge tax tokens to Elysium?

No. Fee-on-transfer and rebasing tokens aren't supported on the EVM bridge legs.

How do I bring an Elysium token to HyperEVM?

Through the mirror bridge: a one-time, permissionless two-transaction setup creates a 1:1 mirror token on HyperEVM; then holders bridge freely.
