What is Elysium?

Elysium is a general-purpose, high-performance Layer 2 for Hyperliquid built by Kinetiq — an Arbitrum Orbit (Nitro) chain that settles to HyperEVM and uses HYPE for gas, with 100 ms blocks (about 300 ms until a transaction receipt).

Who built Elysium?

Kinetiq, the HYPE liquid-staking protocol, operating it with Conduit.

What is Elysium's chain ID?

Elysium mainnet is chain ID 99901 (0x1863d); the public testnet is chain ID 99801. Kinetiq publishes the official mainnet RPC and explorer on its Connecting page at launch.

When does Elysium mainnet launch?

The public mainnet launches on 9 November 2026. The mainnet chain has run as a private mainnet since 19 October 2026.

Is Elysium an Ethereum Layer 2?

No. It's a Layer 2 for Hyperliquid: it settles to HyperEVM (chain ID 999), not Ethereum.

Does Elysium have a token or airdrop?

No. There's no Elysium token or points program; HYPE is the gas token. 50% of sequencer revenue buys Kinetiq's KNTQ. Any “Elysium claim” site is a scam.

What is the gas token on Elysium?

HYPE, the same asset as on Hyperliquid, bridged 1:1 from HyperEVM.

How do I bridge to Elysium?

Through Elysium's official bridge from HyperEVM: HYPE arrives as native gas 1:1, and ERC-20s cross through the canonical bridge. HyperEVM is the only source chain.

How long do withdrawals from Elysium take?

Withdrawals to HyperEVM wait out the challenge period: about 10 seconds on testnet. Kinetiq hasn't published the mainnet value yet.

Is Elysium safe?

At launch Elysium has a single sequencer, permissioned validators, an AnyTrust data committee and upgradeable bridges, with no published audits yet; permissionless BoLD fraud proofs are planned. Transactions can be forced through HyperEVM's delayed inbox.

Why does a 21,000-gas transfer fail on Elysium?

Elysium's gas includes the cost of posting data to HyperEVM, so a plain HYPE transfer needs about 21,140 gas. Let your wallet estimate gas.

Is Uniswap on Elysium?

Yes. Uniswap's official V2, V3 and V4 contracts are deployed on Elysium by Uniswap's own deployment wallet (0x2179a60856e37dfeaaca0ab043b931fe224b27b6); every address and deployment transaction is on Uniswap contracts on Elysium.

Is Titan Locker live on Elysium?

Yes, since 5 November 2026. Its Elysium lock manager is 0x713E56CeE7060F01F710bF26Aff988264dcfb311; lock certificates live at titanlocker.com/lock/elysium/{id}.

How much does a lock cost on Elysium?

1 HYPE per lock, or 5% of the locked tokens instead for token locks and vesting. Uniswap V3/V4 position locks pay the flat fee. Top-ups, extensions and withdrawals cost gas only.

Can I lock Uniswap V3 or V4 positions on Elysium?

Yes. Titan Locker holds the position NFT from Elysium's official Uniswap V3 Positions NFT or V4 PositionManager, and you keep collecting the position's trading fees while it's locked.

Is Kinetiq's Elysium the same as VulcanForged's Elysium?

No. VulcanForged's Elysium is an unrelated chain (chain IDs 1338/1339, PYR/LAVA gas). Kinetiq's Elysium uses HYPE.
